• Dr Kruti Mody Doshi has done her post-graduation in Ophthalmology (DNB) from Mumbai and then pursued Oculoplasty as her super-speciality

• She has acquired her skills from the world recognised institute, LV Prasad Eye Institute, Hyderabad where she was trained for 2½ years

• At present she is a practicing Oculoplasty Surgeon in Mumbai and deals with various disorders of the lids, lacrimal system and orbit. Her field of interests are reconstructive surgeries and cosmetic issues related to the eyes and the face.

• She has many publications and ongoing projects to her credit and has presented her work at over 30 national and international conferences

• She is an executive committee member of the Ocular Trauma Society of India (OTSI)

• While in Mumbai she has worked as an honorary consultant at LTGM Hospital, Sion and KEM Hospital, Parel.

EDUCATION QUALIFICATION

• Clinical Fellowship in Oculoplasty: at LV Prasad Eye Institute, Hyderabad, India; 1st January 2011 to December 2012.

• Research Fellowship in Oculoplasty: at LV Prasad Eye Institute, Hyderabad, India. July 2010 to December 2010.

• ICO Fellowship: Passed the three level examination of the nternational Council of Ophthalmology UK in 2010.

• Post-graduation in Ophthalmology: Diplomate of National Board (DNB) at Aditya Jyot Eye Hospital, Mumbai; Feb 2007 to Jan 2010.

• Emergency Medicine: Basic Life Support (BLS) and the Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) course in 2011

• Junior Residency: in the Department of General Medicine at P. D. Hinduja Hospital and Research Centre: 6 months in Cardiology, 2 months in Nephrology, 2 months in Oncology and 2 months in Neurology.

• Medical Graduation (M.B.B.S.): from Maharashtra University of Health Sciences (MUHS) at Pad. Dr. D. Y. Patil Med College, Navi Mumbai; June 1999 – October 2003. Internship: January 2004 – December 2004.
